Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh

Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh having more than twenty three years of experience in the field of Library & Information Science. He did his M.A. in English, M.LIS and Ph.D in Library & Information Science and efficaciously completed Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application. Presently, he is working as a University Librarian at Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Bihar. Before joining Central University of South Bihar in 2018, he worked as a Deputy Librarian in Sido Kanhu Murmu University, (Dumka) Jharkhand for around twelve years and as an Assistant Librarian in Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag-Jharkhand for around six years.

Dr. Singh's active professional involvement reflects in his life membership of a number of Library Associations and Learned Bodies in India; viz ILA, IASLIC, JILA and Library Association of Bihar. His commitment towards profession and intellectual abilities has engaged him in various higher learning institutions of national repute and other national level bodies as an expert member. Dr. Singh has also been associated with National Library Kolkata and Bihar Govt.as a member of book selection / collection development committee. In pursuit of professional excellence, Dr. Singh has visited more than forty five Universities, IITs and College libraries in India. He participated and presented number of papers in National and International Conferences/Seminars and passionately spread his professional knowledge throughout the country by delivering invited talks; and he wrote more than forty papers in Journals/Conference proceedings of National and International level. He has to his credit twenty four book/edited book and fifteen books chapters. He has been a keen researcher in the areas of Library Automation on RFID based system, Bibliometric and Webometric analysis, Integration of Core Technology for promoting Library Resources, Use and implementation of e-Services in Library,

In his endeavor of service to the society, Dr. Singh has introduced and successfully implemented the Bio-Metric based RFID service and Remote Access Facilities of e-Resources in the Central Library. He initiated 'Online Resource Centre', and Braille Library; and he also organized Orientation Programme, Workshop and Training Programmes related to Library & Information Science in the Library. Apart from them, he is the first and founder University Librarian of Central University of South Bihar. Dr. Singh also initiated B.LIS and M.LIS courses in S.K.M. University, Dumka and founder Head / Director of the Department. He received various appreciation / honour certificate for 'Asset of the University' by the Vice Chancellor.

Dr Mayank Yuvraj

Assistant Librarian

Dr. Mayank Yuvaraj has been working as Assistant Librarian at Central University of South Bihar since 2014. He graduated from Delhi University; completed Masters and Doctorate degree from Banaras Hindu University. He cleared UGC-NET/JRF in June 2011. Only two candidates qualified for JRF in June 2011 and he was one of them.

His research interests are emerging technologies, cloud computing, scientometrics, altmetrics, research tools. He has 40 research papers to credit which are indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. He has also been part of several All India Radio talk shows. More than 30 invited lectures have been delivered by him and he has served as a resource person on artificial intelligence-based literature reviews, literature searching, research writing, predatory journals, open-source tools for research, and bibliometric analysis.

In the capacity of Librarian In-charge (2014-31.01.2018), Dr. Yuvaraj has been instrumental in developing library services at Central University of South Bihar. He implemented library automation software, institutional repository software, electronic resource management software, one search portal, subject guides and drafted library policy for Central University of South Bihar.

Dr. MD GULNAWAZ AZAM

Assistant Librarian (gulnawaz@cusb.ac.in)

Dr. Md. Gulnawaz Azam has been currently working as Assistant Librarian at Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya, Bihar since 2016. He did his B.Sc. (Physics Honours) from T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur, and BLIS and MLIS with first division from the same university. He has qualified UGC-NET (for Lectureship) and he has successfully completed A Level Advanced Diploma Course in Computer Science & Application from DOEACC Society (now NIELIT), New Delhi. He did his Ph.D. in Library & Information Science from T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur.

He has published and presented technical papers in various fields of Library & Information Science in many National and International Conferences and Seminars and he has also attained many workshops related to the Koha, Dspace, Drupal, Joomla!, MySQL and Linux OS.

Mr. Kshitiz Singh

Information Scientist (Central University of South Bihar)

Mr. Kshitiz Singh (Means "born of the earth" or "horizon" in Sanskrit) working as Information Scientist at Central University of South Bihar since July 2017. He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science Subject in 2011. He has 10 plus years of experience.

Currently, he is enrolled in PhD in Computer Science (Part Time) program at Central University of South Bihar along withholding his post as Information Scientist in University Library. His area of research is in Audio Forgery.

He has worked in various administrative capacities like Recruitment (Teaching & Non Teaching), SAMARTH UERP Nodal Officer, University IT Committee; KOHA Administrator, Library Website Committee, RFID Automation I/C with Biometric Enabled System, University Library IT Infrastructure I/C, INFLIBNET Services Nodal Officer.

He has comprehensive knowledge of PHP, HTML5, j-Query, Apache, MySQL, MariaDB, C, C++, C#, Java, Yes It Is Framework, GIS, KOHA, Python, Pearl. His proficiency in as Database Administrator, Software Engineer, Network Administrator, Agile Methodology Based S/W Development, Server Administrator, Data Scientist etc. He has a vast working experience of Government and Private Organization work culture.
